Benefitting charities

In its inaugural year, the Foundation has pledged to support Cancer Research UK as its main benefitting charity, given that Lawrence’s mother Eileen lost her courageous battle with the disease in December 2008.

The Foundation will specifically fund the Clinical Research Training Fellowships at Cancer Research UK Centres, which ensure that new scientific breakthroughs will quickly translate to new, state-of-the-art treatments, making a real difference to the lives of people living with cancer, both now, and in the future.
